Timetable
All of our sessions are included in SLDC family membership, which helps cover the cost of running our activities. We offer a family membership for £40 per month. This allows members and their family/friends to attend as many SLDC activities as they wish.
Alternatively, activities can be attended on a pay-as-you-go basis at £7.50 per person, per session. Please check whether your activity needs to be booked in advance.
Our regular sessions
Mondays & Wednesdays
Share & Care
A social group for people with dementia and their families.
A relaxed, friendly space to enjoy activities, refreshments and time together. Mondays rotate through seated dance, music, crafting, games and puzzles. Wednesdays join with the Methodist Church for a coffee morning, seated exercise and Tai Chi.

Love to Move
Gentle movement to support body and mind.
A specially designed programme from the British Gymnastics Foundation. Gentle, engaging activities improve mobility, flexibility and wellbeing while stimulating the brain —- many participants regain skills they thought lost.

Time to Talk
A peer support group for carers.
A safe, welcoming space to share experiences, ask questions and connect with others who understand caring for someone with dementia. One-to-one appointments are available with clinical lead Professor Jacqueline Parkes (University of Northampton).

4th Friday of the Month
Carers Support Session
Dedicated monthly support for carers.
Expert talks, practical advice and discussions on behaviour, relationships and coping strategies. While carers take part, separate activities run for their loved ones, so everyone has a meaningful time.
